Anyone familiar with Skinny Guy Truck Tent Campers?

Just stumbled across this interesting product tonight. It’s a fold up and out tent for the back of pickup trucks. Kinda reminds me of the ATC Habitat…but it’s def different.

Do any of you guys have any experience with this product?

I tried to search this Expo site to see if there’d been a previous write up on this camper, but the amazingly worthless internal search engine on Expo pretty much completely sucks and didn’t help.

Example: search, “skinny guy.”
Results: “the word ‘guy’ is too common and has been excluded from your search.”
(That’s a common result whenever I try to use search here) ???

Initially I really liked the idea, but now I think they tried to add too much into the small space.

I’d rather see this with a side flip and rear kitchen pull out. I’ve never been a fan of cooking in the tent. I’d rather have an awning with ample elbow space to cook under.

I think something like the PCOR canopy with an integrated tent or a turtle back trailer that slide in with an integrated tent is ideal for a lot of North Americans since we tend to daily our rigs.

The flip solar brilliant though. And apparently you can base camp it with lifters/kickstands.

You can search ExPo with Google a lot better. Example:

skinny guy campers site:expeditionportal.com

generically — [search term] site:[websitetosearch.com]

I usually find a lot more this way … if its there.
