I run one in my Xterra. Nice radio. Decent power. I have mine "unlocked" via the software for GMRS/FRS freqs. I've run DMR on it both via hotspot and repeaters. It's a versatile radio in a small package. You can run APRS on it, though not sure if you get full APRS function. It can crossband repeat. Though it can get warm.
They have a bluetooth display microphone out soon, which I pre-ordered. I'm happy with mine. If you have an Anytone 878, the functionality is almost identical.
Downsides are the screen is small, menus can be kind of cumbersome. Screen and controls not detachable. Programming can be a PITA at times.
