Any recommendations on a Parka?

Swedish m90 surplus parka. They also have matching pants. It is like wearing a sleeping-bag warm ;). In super cold (-20C), I would wear baselayers, mid, and a down jacket underneath but you might get away with just the parka (I am very skinny, no blubber to speak of).

bonus: they're pretty cheap for parkas.

I'll have a look!!

FYI, I was out in -25c with high winds last week in my Columbia and I was toasty warm. No need for base layer, mid and other layers. I had a cotton t shirt on, waiting outside for my son's school bus. Like I said, the Columbia parka is even 90% of what my Canada goose/snow goose 900 dollar parka is. at the cost of the Columbia parka, nothing beats it for warmth per dollar. Omni heat and Omni tech work as advertised.
