Aftermarket seat options? Do they even exist anymore?

Yes, I've come to this conclusion as well. Wondering if an ortho or a chiropractor would be a more appropriate specialist to discuss this with?

Chiropractors are a life saver! I stretch twice a day and it has helped immensely.

I agree but before you go try stretching your lower back and your piriformis muscle. That has helped me tremendously. Well that, and shots between my vertebrae and facet joints.

Toby the US guy has a Sprinter and loves to travel, he is also super helpful with questions.
I have 18k miles on mine and as an amputee with a bad back/pelvis I have NEVER been comfortable till now.
Dog loves them also :)

IMO there's no good option for late model F150 seats. They hurt me too. I just choose not to own one.

Yep, @Stryder106 's recent feature article right here was a good writeup. I've sat in his (briefly) and found them comfortable and somewhat firm under my large posterior. He sings their praises and has a lot of miles on and off-road in them.
Should ask @pappawheely too, as much as he is on the off-road racing circuit he should have some insights.

Many in the safety field are moving away from suspension seats. They do bad things to your spine in a crash situation. They allow for some acceleration before they arrest you. With that said, in a daily driver type application I doubt you will ever be flipping end over end at 100 miles per hour. The best way to find a seat that's comfortable is to sit in them. Years ago I bought some Scat Procar seats because they were cheap. Big mistake. That seat has a very aggressive bolster around the hips that will make you piss blood after a long drive. Worst seat ever.

Thanks I did not know that about the suspension seats.

Well, last week I got my Scheel Mann Vario seats. I have now put 1000 miles on them down rough roads, bone shaking trails, and long highway.... Hands down the best money I have ever spent on my G. It absolutely totally changes everything. You will NOT be disappointed.

After this 1000 mile week journey I hopped in my my Posche 911 for 140 miles... Then back to the G with Scheel Mann. Now I feel like I need a set in the Porsche...

Seats can feel comfortable initially but after an hour or so that's the test.
My friend has a dealership and got an Audi Q9 in on a trade. He asked me to sit in it. Dang you could adjust everything on the earth. It was incredibly comfortable. I asked him if I could drive it? No dice. It was going on a transport to Ottawa from Carlsbad,Ca. My 2007 Ram seats basically suck on a long trip.

Once you find a chiro who works for you, it will change your life. The trick is to find one who works for your body. I was lucky and my first chiro was great, but when I moved, it took 3 tries to find someone whose methods kept me lined up. The other two were highly recommended and very professional, but their treatments just didn't "stick" the way the other folks treatments did.

Scheel Man and Corbeau both make some very comfortable seats, the latter at a much less painful price point.

As a teenager I had an accident on a skateboard. I was severely twisted up. I couldn't go to school, couldn't sleep. The chiropractor straightened me out in two sessions. Unlike most he said come back when you need me. I've had some alleviate neck pain but really haven't had much luck. Stretching is imperative.

Scheel-Mann Vario F - is ergonomic and orthopedic. The F variant has a lower side bolster than the R variant so it's easier ingress and egress. Awesome seat and I looked at pretty much everything on the market and the Scheel-Mann was hands down the best available. As for a race seat - I have one in my drag car - it's fine for 1/4 mile straight line smooth and done in 9 seconds - no way would I overland with it.

I'm curious if the OP's truck has a power seat. I'm guessing it does. So, would a Sheel-Mann seat sit on top the existing seat frame? Or do you lose the power function and use a Scheel-Mann frame?

I was poking around the Scheel-Mann website and didn't see power seats.
