Hey everyone - Happy Monday!

Tom here. We’ve been on a super fun adventure starting up a new brand in late 2021 and we're so excited to jump all in this year.

Here goes! A little about AERONAUT Outdoor and our Hoverquilt --- We’re all about sleep. Sleepers passionate about overlanding … or … Overlanders passionate about sleeping? Sleepeoverlanders? Still gotta figure that out. We believe sleeping gear for overlanders can be better. A lot better. You can also check it out on instagram @aeronautoutdoor

TLDR: The hoverquilt is a super warm, non-confining down blanket that keeps you and partner warm to 0C / 30-35F. Or you burrito it and enjoy it all to yourself. Other brands would temp rate this to -9C / 15F (EN lower limit)

3 big things we love doing:

SLEEP LOOSE -- No more sleeping like a mummy! Stomach sleepers rejoice, or shift in any favorite position, you name it, and stay warm.
SLEEP WARM -- Warmer than any camp blanket. Technical construction and down ratios from high end sleeping bags -- box baffle construction, so no cold spots.
SLEEP TOGETHER -- Again, no more mummies to get in the way ? ... and also leaning on our overland community for fun new product ideas and solutions.

We've got a lot of experience engineering sleeping bags ... for NEMO, Marmot, etc, for over 12 years. Awesome product and companies, but no one likes to sleep like a mummy. It’s also hard to find something that’ll actually keep you warm that’s not a sleeping bag. And pack down small. So we made it, when no other company would want to risk such a lofty product. A no-compromises, best materials you can get, down blanket for 2.

The Hoverquilt is 90" x 80", so definitely good sized even if your partner is a blanket thief. 750 fill power goose down, so it’s ultralight at 2.5 lbs (just over 1lb per person). Buttery soft materials to keep you toasty warm. And you keep it in your RTT / Camper super easily - it compresses to ~ 1/8" when it’s flat. No cold spots because we went with box baffles. It also comes with a stuff sack for tossing under your seat, and a cotton storage sack for long term storage (also doubles as a laundry bag! Win!)

Thanks and sleep loose!

PS -- we've just launched our new Aerostraps. Made here in our garage studio in southern california. These are really cool thin gear straps that are 6 ft (180cm), adjustable, that wrap around most mattresses and keep your quilt in place. Also great as general use straps for gear tie downs, kid forts, pinatas, etc. 40-45lb working limit in our initial testing.
