Well, did a little tire shopping today down in Boulder and found that Cooper doesn't make the M/T SST Pro in my size so, looks like I'll end up with BFG M/T's this time versus the original A/T's.

Discount Tire shows to sell them. $289/ea, less 5% if you're a Vet/MIL/First Responder, $275/ea.

Thanks! And I should have mentioned the tire size, 33-10.50x15. Sorry.

It appears they don't make them in a 33-10.50x15. My wheels are custom 15x8 steelies and under full flex the 33's seem to be the max I can run with this current suspension. I do have a new OME 4 inch heavy/heavy with nitro shocks suspension sitting in the shop but I won't have the time to do the install for a taller tire. Plus anything wider then a 10.50 may rub the inner fender under max flex. Cheers and thanks.

Update:

Decided on the BFG MT KM3's in 33x10.50-15 and got them ordered and paid for from CostCo. Turns out there was on 10 tires in the Denver hub and they couldn't guarantee if those sold when the next shipment would come in.

The only predicament was that it's snowing here and that means CDOT will be throwing down mag chloride everywhere and I really don't want to get that all under this 80's truck so, they'll just hold them for me for when the roads dry up.

Next, I bought a new winch battery since the old one was 15+ years old and had the power of a "AA" battery. It'll be nice to get the 8274 running again and adding the Safe Xtract synthetic winch line!

Well, there in....now just need for the weather to cooperate to get the 60 down the mountain and get them installed. (Mainly due to all the darn mag chloride on the streets....heck getting that on this beast.)

I did not know they made that size any more. I was told when I got them for my FJ60 that size was being discontinued.

Didn't seem to be a problem. They had 10 tires in the Denver distribution center and I got 4. Hopefully I don't take 15 years to replace these!

It would be interesting to see the date on the side of the tire. Once I changed to M/T vs a A/T I never considered going back to a A/T . The tread pattern makes a big difference . I run the KM3 M /T on my 200 Series.

A good day of of RR prep. Got the Safe Xtract Synthetic winch installed on the 8274. Still need to tension it before the Moab event. Picked out the Zarges cases that will be part of the rear platform build. Still need to sort then ATC gearbags for this loadout. And, now need to get the old school monster Hella lights installed and wired!
