A Better Way To Case A Hi Lift Jack

Looking for neat, cheap ideas to keep a high lift useably clean in bed of pickup. I've tried the Hi Lift "bag" which lasted about a month, the hard case is too much, the neoprene may not be tough enough? Hope you folks have come up with a magical, inexpensive way to keep the Jack clean, ready to use in a dirty environment! Thanks!

I have the beam mounted on my bumper and the rest goes in a bag under the seat of My 110 Landy, it only takes seconds to assemble so why leave the working part out in the elements, less likely to get stolen as well

:sombrero: The "JackCase" has served me well for over 5 years-

It'll hold/secure a muddy/snowy/wet HiLift without contaminating any thing else in the cargo area--

Also makes carrying the HiLift--very easy !

Whatever-

I replaced the cotter pins with lynch pins so I can remove the climbing mechanism and the handle (to use as a breaker bar) more readily - may work for Redneck's idea too.
