Good afternoon everyone! I had just picked this up on my last trip out to Moab with big plans for a restoration and preparation for the National Rally in August, but as often happens a long time project truck that I had been pursuing came up for sale and now I must part with this truck to make that one happen!
This truck was the Texas truck, and the new owner will be number three on the title since new, with the previous owner being a well known guide in Moab. The truck DEFINITELY needs some TLC, but does run and drive well. The two main things that need to be addressed right away are the tires and the rear EAS. The EAS should be remedied one way or another by the time the new owner picks it up, as the truck is currently sitting at Keith Kreutzer's Rover Tracks shop in the Denver area (where the truck will need to be picked up from) and he is working on a remedy for that as this is being typed.
All of the parts are there to make this a fantastic, drivable piece of history. This truck is one of fifteen, and deserves to go to a good home. It will need a lot of work to bring it back to it's former glory, but in the end it will be a spectacular rig. If you have any questions about the truck feel free to PM me,or contact Keith directly at his shop as he has it in front of him and can give you a good third party opinion of it's condition.
Thanks!
