Did you ever have any overheating problems with that bumper on there? When I went from the stock bumper on my truck (with the air slots) to something better - my truck started overheating on the road at speeds over 50MPH. Anything but the stock bumper seems to block a large portion of the lower radiator, causing the truck to overheat at highway speeds.

Just curious, because I'm building a bumper from scratch that's going to look the same as this, but the center is going to have a big hole for airflow :)

Oh, and my truck is an '89 with the 3VZ if that means anything.

No problems overheating at all. This is with the 10" lights and a winch installed with lots of miles in the SW deserts and three trips down to Baja.I think most aftermarket manufacturers think about the legalities and functionalities of their products and ARB does have good testing grounds since . . .

"The western desert lives and breaths at forty five degrees"

I will be making a bumper for my new truck and would have to agree with you though, don't block the cooling system.http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif
