87 E350 seat compatibility

Hello! I just bought a 87 E350 high top camper van. It needs a driver and passenger seat, as one is missing and the other is in terrible condition. Does anyone know if the later model Econoline seats can be adapted to the older model van?

Anything is possible, but they won't "bolt right up". Even within the 92-18 Vans the seats aren't directly interchangeable. Pre 97 have a different base, and the seat belt buckles changed in 08 I believe. With a drill (and maybe a welder) it could be done.

Just to add my experience to this comment. I was able to swap the seats from my 2000 Chateau to my 2010. Bases were exact fit. Seat belt from the 2010 will buckle on the 2000 but the 2000 belt didn't buckle on the 2010 seat so I have to remove and change the buckles.
