In the NWT again, this was the longest single lane bridge I had ever seen. On a dry section of riverbed on the outskirts of Fort Simpson. That haze is smoke from the forest fires.. I had initially expected to go through the NWT before Yukon, but having no real plan or commitment was great. I met some along my travels that had issues travelling due to the fires and road closures.

A day trip to Wrigley. Was well worth it, the road was a mess in some places which made it fun.

The end of the Ingraham trail and a nice water fall on a hike along the road.

On Great Slave Lk where I had my bear visit, the fat black was looking down at me cooking burgers from where I stood to take the picture of the truck on the beach, maybe 15-20ft away, gave me a good surprise to say the least. Back down towards Alberta I found a great spot to camp on the Hay river.

back in alberta, the 1st night back i found an old log cut that had a nice setting to camp in, as usual this took some time finding but was really nice, then on to another great river spot, this time on peace river, only about 75km away from where i camped on the smoky river on the 1st trip through alberta. not sure if you can see it but the truck is way down on the riverbed from the pic up the hill.

...and back into BC! setup for the night at the end of a field in some mountains beside a stream with what appears to be where something sleeps just across from the shallow water.

Found a great spot on the Cranberry river with a tip from a few ppl i ran into exploring the area, of course it was raining, this was the 1st time i setup my tarp all summer. It rained many other days but generally cleared up by evening to no more than a light drizzle. The clouds kept the mountains hidden from view most of the time. Did some salmon fishing, was told that the pool at the bottom of the falls would be red with salmon any day now. I was a bit early, but considering this was all random there were no complaints from me.

Prince Rupert area. Camped at a kayak tour tent setup that was on an inlet with nobody there, without this place I would have been stuck in the truck due to the worst rain I would see all summer.

The inside passage ferry ride from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy. It was ok but if i were doing it differently I would get on the ferry at Bella Coola. After a summer of exploring and driving I felt like the boat ride was boring. For the cost I could have driving quite a few miles..
