295/65R18 Tire Size?

Looking at this tire size for my truck......295/65R18

Seems to be only made in the Goodyear Duratrac?

I had the Duratracs on my old F150, and they were good and lasted 60,000+ miles

Any other tire manufacturer make a tire in this size?

A 285/65R18 size does have a lot more options, but its not that much taller/wide than my current size (265//65R18)

A 295/70R18 size also does have more options, but I am not sure this size will fit without rubbing........

To my knowledge, I think Goodyear is the only mfg to offer this size. The only problem with that is if you damage a tire, it may be difficult to find a replacement. Way more options in the 295/70/18 size but it is taller and wider.

Best options, selection, price are in the 17" size.
Depending on you rim expectation you can often go 17" conversion for not much more than 18" tires.
And get a bit more sidewall in the process.

Go here, I love this converter.

I keyed in 295/65R18 and got hundreds of comparable sized options, altho, yes only DTs and Pro Comps in that specific size.

Basically you are looking for a 33x11.50R18
If you go to 275/70R18....... there are several choices half the price of the DTs.
Same diameter, a bit skinnier.... therefore far more friendly thru slush and standing water which is pretty common in Indiana.

Cooper lists their AT3 ALT in 275/70/18 as being 33.20 x 11.10

Falken lists their Wildpeak in 275/70/18 as being 33.40 x 11.00

Goodyear lists the Duratrac in 275/70/18 as being 33.20 x 11.00

I'll check prices and compare the 295/65/18 to the 275/70/18

Seems like the 275/70 and 295/65 are the same height

Most 275/70s are 11" wide

The 295/65 is 11.80" wide

The 295/65 is $1320 and the 275/70 varies from $1065-$1300

295/65R18: 33.10 x 11.80

265/65R18: 31.60 x 10.40

The 295 would be roughly 1.40" wider, so less than 3/4" wider on each side of the wheel

The 295 would be roughly 1.50" taller

I am fairly confident with the stock 18x8.5 wheel (5.70" bs) I can clear the added height and width, with my 3.5" lift

295s are ordered

$150 in rebates right now, that will pay for the unlimited 10 year road hazard warranty

Tires will hopefully arrive today and will be installed tomorrow
