255/85R16 ST/Maxx dilemma

I have 235/85R16 ST's and my old KO2's were wayyyy louder than the Coopers. It wasn't even a contest. Especially under 40MPH and over 50MPH. The BFG'S were pretty loud at cruising speed of 70 MPH. The cooper's you can't hear over the wind noise at that speed.
Man we’re you driving around all the time with your windows down? I can cruise down the highway on my KO2s with minimal volume on my stereo and listen to music or podcasts and that’s after 50k miles. The Maxxs must be whisper quiet!

I can't comment on the taco specs but I know on my Tundra, I had several shops align it within spec and it would still shred tires. Toyota's spec allows for way too much toe in from the factory and the alignment shops just rolled with it. After about 10k miles, the outer edges of the tires would be work to hell even with rotations. The wear rate in the front is so much faster than in the rear so the tires never get a chance to even out unless you drive around doing burnouts.
