235/85r16- who's run them on an E350?

New tire time, was going to go with 265/75r16 but there is a lot of conflicting reports about how much rubbing they cause. Sounds like 235/85's fit without rubbing but haven't seen much on how the narrower tire handles on a E350, particularly an EB.
Anybody use them?

I have them on mine. The only complaint is that they look skinny. I had wide tires on my last truck and didn't like the way it handled. I put them on right after lifting the van. I have WeldTec's Designs 4 inch lift and I love it! IMG_1578.jpgIMG_1580.jpg

id like to find a skinnier tire for winter if nothing else. the 315's are garbage in the slushy crap.

I've had my 265/75 R16 bfgs on for about 3 weeks now. Mine is all stock and I have not had any trouble. It improved all aspects of driving for my van. I went up from the stock 245/75 size. Bbasso runs 265s too and I believe his is all stock.

Ended up getting the Falken Wildpeak at3w's. They fit great, ride great, and handled well on a snowboarding trip out to Colorado.

Yup 265 / 75 - 16 with Bilstein shocks all around.
I'm content.

Another here with the Falken Wildpeak at3w's in the 235/85r16. No off-road yet but they seem great on the street.

Glad to hear they work well in the snow, I'll have to wait until next year to test mine :ylsmoke:

Not the size you are discussing, mine are 305/65R18, but I do like my Falken AT3W. Good road manners, low noise and great in snow.
