Prototype camper shell looks good Andreas, well done.

Kevin, how does this have a more usable bed than the ATO AterraXL?

After spending some time in this "prototype" camper shell, not once, but twice, so far this weekend....I'm very impressed. Excellent execution, thermally comfortable even on an 84deg day (where only the Tern Overland door is open; no roof hatches or windows open), light/bright of course. Queen cabover bed is enough for most people. With a passthru to the truck cab this would be icing on the cake.

DO NOT try to turn me yet Kevin.... ;)

Thanks for the feedback. We had this on the backburner for a long time.... Finally assembled it with a tight timeline for BC Overland Rally and next weeks Expo in Bend. IF and it's still a big IF we bring this into production we will need to change a couple things. The slanted roof ads roughly 150lb!. This featue also only allows for the medium size Wildlands door . These are not insulated and fairly short....

Will see what people say at the expo.....
Also adds more seams to leak and reduces cabinet storage.

Would reducing the miter (sloped) panel to 150mm be enough to fit the large door and still provide the look?

Here is a pic of the taller door. Not much room for a slant
