So Chevy presented the new Silverado HD if you haven't heard of it: https://expeditionportal.com/first-look-at-chevrolets-2020-silverado-hd/
Even though the design of the new 2020 Silverado 2500HD is far away from being everyone's cup of tea I still feel like there's a good potential for mods and upgrades.
This prerunner style render makes the truck look much better in my opinion, so I think it would look pretty cool with a camper shell, roof rack and other overland gear.
What do you think?

I actually like that....better than the stock version in my mind. Although if I were to quibble I would say lose the 6 lights over the cab (the glare would be horrible unless the hood was coated with rhinoshield or something similar). I'm also not a fan of that many lights in general. Plus I would prefer to see some grille protection, which would also do double duty to hide the ugly look to some degree. The bumper is a definite added improvement to the stock one IMO. I'm also not a fan of wheelwell lights. Looks like just added bling to me. But overall, I like this look- much better than the stock version to me.

Great photchop skills.

But those tires are eating way into the fenders. I guess a Sawzall could fix that.

From the rendering it has coilover, did gm finally ditch the torsion bar crap?

Looks like the photochoppers dropped the 2020 body on a Kibbetech built prerunner.

If only they could of rendered out those dog leg side mirror arms...and the grill. I stumbled on this the other day about the massive grille trend. http://www.thedrive.com/design/5054/what-the-hell-is-with-huge-truck-grilles-and-bulging-hoods

Typical mall crawler excessive useless lighting. Nothing against the old school KC lights, but mounting in that position is going to cause excessive glare on windshield and off the hood. Push them back behind the top edge of the windshield. Colored rock lights LOL. try locating something you dropped with colored lighting. I don't care what anyone adds to the the truck it is still butt ugly with that flat nose. If you are going to run blacked out trim on the truck then at least blackout the chrome grill divider and the chrome fake scoop openings on the hood.
