I bought this dream van of mine in November 2020 as a pandemic passion project in hopes of eventual full-time living. I spared no expense in setting her up with a solid foundation – Havelock insulation, Baltic birch framing, and a premium insulated subfloor. The Transit model with all its features on its own is top of the line and a rare find in this current market. You probably don't need me to tell you about the months long waitlists for these vans. Then, I returned to grad school and plans have changed. As sad as I am to part with her halfway through the build, she is primed for your customization and personal touches.
Problems: Other than a windshield crack, none. A pebble to the windshield was inevitable in Moab, Utah. I haven’t repaired it because two different glass experts assured me it would last another 5 years due to the glass being double laminated and the crack is one-sided, but was quoted at $200 if you want to fix her up.
