There is a false seam there. That is where you cut. Get a truck door protector to apply afterwards. Heres a couple pics the fist pic shows the door protector on, it makes it cleaner. Hope it helps!

Under the stock plastic facia, you’ll find a small bumper that the shockworks will replace so you have to unbolt and remove it.

If you plan to install aftermarket lights to replace your stock bumper driving lights, you’ll need these 514300

I built a wood ....not sure what to call it... a wood buck and bolted the wood buck to my floor jack and to the bumper.
I can remove and install the bumper by myself...no help needed.

I marked the existing bumper 1/2 " above the seam , marked the spot with some frog tape , then used a 4 1/2 inch grinder with a zip cut ( the autobody place by me recommended that ) . Used a floor jack and a engine hoist ( see pictures ) , It went well . DSC_2636.JPGDSC_3447.JPGDSC_3453.JPGDSC_3456.JPGDSC_3470.JPG

Total, MNCarl, Bamps, thanks for the post and details. (y) (y)(y)

From the time you ordered it, how long did it take to arrive? I ordered the ShrockWorks bumper(w/center hoop & headlight guards) last week.

Ordered on May 4 th , Shipped on June 13 th received it on July 18 th . If you are shipping to Canada make sure to have a brokerage company ready for the shipment . Also get a NAFTA certificate from Shrockworks ( then you will not have to pay GST) .
Took forever with the shipping ...
