I usually just fill DEF up at truck stops, seems a lot easier and less of a hassle, but I have 7 gallon DEF tank, larger than whats on the normal pick up trucks.

Do they have fill ups like with normal gas/diesel?

And they’re on! So excited. Tires are so much softer and quieter.

Got up to the East side of Mt Hood last weekend. Woke up to 12 degree temperatures and snow. It was a fun, cold day of hiking around and exploring.

Oh, and these arrived. I can finally level out my rig. It wasn’t too bad, but it wasn’t good. I’ll try and put these in this weekend.

What should I do next... a dedicated compressor with interior switch and pressure meter, or have some sort of other compressor, ARB mist likely, that could serve multiple purposes? Any opinions?

Set yourself up with a nice on board air system. 2-3gal tank, maybe a nice Viair or Wolo 100% duty cycle compressor or whatever your preferred flavour. Don’t bother with the switch and gauge in the dash. Keep it simple, just lines to schraeder valves, plumb them separately to a convenient location. You can now use them independently to level your rig. Plus the compressor will be capable of airing up your tires, inflatables, air tools, pressurize a solar shower setup, etc... sweet set up so far,

Id never consider OBA and bags without in-cab controls, for one simple reason...

When leaving the pavement and hitting the dirt we dump the bags to soften the ride.
It goes a LONG way in reducing vibrations in the camper, as well as in cab.

We run a simple, small 100% duty cycle Viair with a 3 gallon tank and a pressure switch, with in-cab controls.
I can monitor and control the compressor, tank pressure, and bag pressure(s) on the road, without leaving the vehicle.

idaSHO I agree 100% that in cab controls are most convenient. I didn’t realize they sold a kit that allowed you to control the pressure of each rear bag separately so you can level your rig when parked. The kits I’ve installed are just T’d off the same supply line and inflate both bags equally. What kit are you using?

I’m curious too what kit that is. Looks awesome. My friend runs a Vlair kit too, says it works very well. Thank you for your help friends!!

Very cool! So you get that dbl paddle switch, a tank, and their 100% duty cycle compressor?
I saw Vlair has a kit with all this but the switch and a HD pump with a 33% duty cycle at 150psi, and a 2.5 gal tank all for $350. Seems like maybe overkill, but could be a good setup.

I have a Viair380C. Its slow, but does the trick even for our 35's @ 70PSI

The compressor, pressure switch, tank, etc, all tuck under the passenger side running board.
