Overview:
  • The Rig has recently had a 100k service and at that time it underwent (1) new sparkplugs and (2) new fuel pump (3) new front drive shaft (4) semi–synthetic oil change and (5) multi-point inspection (6) New Windshield.
  • Tires have approximately 20k miles left on them and are in good condition.
  • This rig is not a mall cruiser and has been used as an overlanding support vehicle in the TAP business. It has never done any serious rock crawling and an undercarriage inspection will show this. As a company vehicle and daily driver, it has always been well maintained.
  • All TAP company graphics have been removed.

Looks nice. The ad is a bit confusing...it's either an AEV build, or it's a build by the tech you mention (but done with AEV components). I don't see the windshield sticker, the instrument console, or the AEV build sticker so it's hard to tell.

You are right, it's a build with AEV components. Sorry for the confusion and I've adjusted the thread accordingly.

Love the build and am mildly interested as I love backpacking and back-country hunting and fishing. Currently own a '96 7.3L with a cap that I camp out of, traveling CC as we speak.

Have you camped much in the cold with the RTT? I'm sure you have but I'm just curious if you've explored warming the RTT. I love taking my dog with me and am just now starting to realize all of the complications with warming your Off-Road sleeper. Thanks!

We've camped a ton in the cold desert and some in snow. Very occasionally I have used a buddy heater to quickly warm up the RTT and to be honest I rely heavily on a good sleeping bag. Of course that doesn't help the pup.
