Howdy all. Putting out a feeler to sell my 2012 MB G550 (Gwagen).

I bought this beautiful rig last year, and it just turned over 100k miles. I replaced the t-case motor, radiator, and some auxiliary parts over the winter. The rest of the truck has been tip-top. She drives like a Mercedes on the road, and off-road capability is pretty amazing. I have all service records (to include from the very thorough previous owner).

  • 4H/4L
  • Three factory lockers
  • 5.5L V8 = 382hp/391lb-ft torque
  • Custom front steel winch bumper
  • Custom rear bumper with recovery points.
  • Hannibal Safari roof rack and ladder (hi-lift and shovel attachments).
  • Hannibal Safari awning.
  • Rigid Industries light bar mounted on the front.
  • Warn 9.5XPS with synthetic line.
  • American Racing wheels X5.
  • Toyo Open Country M/T 33" X5 (1yo).
  • Skid plates throughout.
  • Suspension is in great shape, but I do have wheel spacers and spring spacers that I bought from Jackwagon Overlanding (but have not yet installed).
  • Hi-Lift
She will get a full MB dealer service in the next week or so (due in 1k miles).

The body and undercarriage is rust free, but steel bumper does have some chipped paint and could use either a powder coat (or maybe Steel It). Here are some exterior photos, and I will post some of the interior after I get her cleaned up (just got back from camping a couple of days ago). The EPA says MPG is 12/15, but I average 12-13 mpg to be honest.

I'm looking to sell as I really need a pickup. While the Gwagen has a payload of like 1400lbs, a truck bed would be more handy for my activities. Asking $58K obo. Located in Colorado Springs. Mileage will go up as its my daily driver.

I used Dr. Google to find the specs on the MB website, but assume so. Surprisingly swift for a big heavy gal.
I know most manufacturers use numbers at the flywheel. Some recently started using at the wheels I believe. I always heard that some of those Wagens were quick.

My rig was dynoed at 375/422 at the wheels. I want more grunt lol

I’ll knock $2k off for vets / first responders.
