Here is my build. It started its life as a patrol vehicle here in San Diego. Then was put up for auction then bought painted and was then purchased by me.

How I bought her.

Took her out to ocotillo in this form.

Then the upgrading began. I went with HaloLifts 0-3” 2.0 coilovers, 17x9 mayhem prodigy’s. And 285/70/17 treadwright wardens.

In that photo the coilovers were set at 2.75”. It seemed like I was putting too much stress on the suspension blew out by upper balljoint boots in about two weeks. But went to ocotillo again.

And most recently had the front brought down .5” and went with true travel dynamics UCA. CA56E6F9-478D-4FF0-8B88-80395ECF5983.jpeg

And finally I took the family to Overland Expo West.

Nice rig, If I had my time back, I would have took my brothers Expo Long version and sold the suburban. He had the limited with every option. Tons of miles on it, and needed some rocker work, but it was solid other wise.

lol..... I miss PoPo... and his brother BeBo. Their dad was a good man. Yup, real people. uggg... aging myself now..... they were 7 & 8yr? kids when they were my students....... they're probably dads with a couple kids of their own now. They were here legally (us air force service member) from Puerto Rico thus the not common names.

Well a long overdue update. Visually not a whole lot has changed. The biggest change is it now has full IVD Suspension at all four corners and tossed the wardens for falken wildpeaks. I love how it rides. Once I can shrink some of my photos I’ll post more. 50FF6654-8631-4168-89F0-C10832A80CFE.jpeg985AD018-FC67-47DD-88C5-EBA068CD8E0A.jpeg8913EF1A-52DE-4339-96B3-9DF08ED2274E.jpegB8FDFCC0-1644-4AA2-856D-7194D3515F13.jpeg

@The Impossipede Thank you. At this point it is not anchored to the floor. Between the weight of wheel/tire and full drawers it takes a lot for it to move. My next version I will have shorter drawers and I plan on finding a way to anchor it down.
