The van is now Sold! Thanks to everyone the looked at it.

Hello everyone, I am helping my good friends sell there van. I have personally driven and worked on this SMB and it is in exceptional condition. Here is the current CL listing and some information about the van. The van is located near Seattle WA.

Illness forces sale. Unfortunately, my very fit and extremely active husband suffered a rare form of stroke. We hope that new owners will get as much enjoyment and have many grand adventures as we did.

The van has been very well maintained, is extremely clean and odor free. There has been no indoor cooking, no smoking, no pet and no children.
What we love most about the van…
-That open and airy feeling with 360* views
-The Bed! I sleep better on the road than I do at home!
-It’s an attention magnet! We have met so many wonderful, likeminded people, many who became long term friends.
-It is fun to drive, even around town!
-The large fridge that runs off solar power when we are parked for several days. We love stopping at the farmers markets and stocking up... It holds a weeks’ worth of groceries!
-You can go anywhere with confidence
-Outdoor living and cooking outside
-The porta-potti…what can I say, I’m a girl!

We purchased the original Sportsmobile conversion van in 2015 with 2 Wheel drive and manual poptop (color match to body) and 22,000 miles. Some had linked this in the craigslist/eBay/etc. Bummer of a story but a killer van! Hope they get a decent price for it.

Such a bummer, about your friend's health. =( Little above my budget, but what a sweet rig! I'm going to email them and try to go take a look. Two of my "wishlist" items are indoor shower for ski camps, and a "garage" to store bikes inside, but maybe I can do without those, at first.

Coincidentally, I'm moving to LA for a year, so Baja trips will be that much closer. Taking a look at the van next week, hopefully.
