2009 Chevy Silverado 1500LT Extended Cab w/ 6.5ft Bed, Fully Loaded, z71 Offroad Edition. Camper was custom built with utility & comfort in mind...No wasted space or weight.
Runs on BOTH Gas/Natural Gas!
Has factory certified Cng Impco conversion that is GM certified and doesn’t void the warranty. This is a $15k option from the dealer! This Cng option is really nice because it not only is very clean (you can drive it legally in the car pool lane & Park it in “clean-air” parking spots downtown. It’s cleaner then a Prius, but it is also comparable cost wise to driving a Prius, but you have a truck not a grocery getter!
Cng allows you to fill it up for $30 w/ a range of 200+ miles on cng and over 550+ miles when you run through both gas & cng tanks! You can drive to Moab and back to SLC for about ~ $40-50 in a self contained 4x4 full size truck camper!...Pretty Sweet!
Mechanically this rig is sound, maintance has been done on schedule. Truck has been well kept & never abused. I have records for the high dollar repairs. Everything works as it should & ready to go! You can confidently take this on a road trip today! Turn key adventure rig!
Exterior & interior look good, there are signs of usage, like mini rock chips and minor dents, nothing major in either the exterior or interior. No rips in the interior. I would call it looks good but not so nice that you’’d be scared to use the truck.
Truck Highlights:
- 5.3 Liter V8 Flex Fuel motor w/ Impco CNG Kit
- Rebuilt Transmisiion about ~40k ago w/ stronger torque converter.
-z71 Offroad Kit w/ factory skid plates, etc
- Bilstein 9000 struts w/ level kit
- updated 18” rims w/ Toyo Open Country Extreme AT (10-ply) Tires ~1/2 tread remaining.
- rear airbags to level truck and are great for towing.
- front-end rebuilt w/ alinement & front & rear brakes replaced
- Updated stereo system w/ Pioneer DVD player w/ backup camera and (2) 10” subwoofers and amp. Switch for rear camera installed making freeway driving stress-free...you can see what’s to the sides and behind you w/ a flip of a switch. There is also a bass knob installed that allows you to adjust/fine tune bass output so can adjust your sound system so it sounds good regardless if you listening to NPR or rocking out!
- Front receiver hitch that I used to carry dirt bikes and mtn bikes. Great for river shuttles!
- Led light bar located in front bumper...awesome when off highway.
- Telescoping tow mirrors
- brake controller installed for trailers w/ electronic brakes.
-tinted windows
Camper Highlights:
-Converted ARE work with an all aluminum shell.
-Fully insulated camper shell w/ carpeted walls & reclaimed painted pallet ceiling. Looks a lot nicer in person then pictures
-2 full size flip out/in compartments. The compartments can be flip up and camped in overnight and because they have rain gutter drip rails. This always you to sleep w/ them open even when it’s raining. Pretty awesome for warm weather thunderstorms!
-1 slider windows on each side compartment.
-Full Size Rear door w/ slider window. The windows make its awesome to sleep in!
-Nice 12v Charging System; Solar, Inverter, Battery Bank, Etc!
-Multiple battery bank includes 2 deep cycle batteries in total. 1 deep cycle battery is located under the hood and 2 located under the kitchenette cabinet. All batteries are fused & wired into a battery isolater so the starting battery will not be affected by any electrics used and will always start. All the batteries will charge while motor is running. Deep cycle battery bank are also connected to solar system and will trickle charge batteries via 100 watt solar panel mounted on roof rack air deflector.
-Solar panel with charge controller w/ usb charging port.
-12v frig Dometic 50qt Frig...works great and doesn’t draw much current
- 300w sure sine inverter
-several USB & 12v cigarette charging ports
-Combo kitchenette/tool box
-Small sink w/ hand pump, setup to be used w/ (2) 5-gallon jerry cans
-several flip down/removable tables.
-metal storage shelf located above kitchenette.
-several soft storage solution in convenient locations.
-flip up/down sleep platform that has 3 position. It can be folded out as a 2 person sleep platform or can be folded in half for a 1 person sleep platform or bench seat, or can be fold up flat against the driver side wall so the truck has cargo space available & can be used as a truck.
-flip out/in side access compartments w/ slider-windows.
-full size rear door w/ slider rear window for additional light and ventilation
-full size aluminum roof rack w/ front storage basket located above the cab w/ wind deflector & solar panel installed on it. There’s also a full length Fiamma awning!
