Original owner, California vehicle, garaged.

I am selling my SMB with the intent of fixing a few items before I offer it, however with that said, I am willing to offer a discount off my asking price to purchase it prior to fixing the items listed below and detailing the vehicle.

I do a lot of off roading and exploring. This is one of four off road vehicles that I use. The SMB was built to my spec. with the intent of maximizing it's ability to take the road and trail less traveled. Some usual "camper" items were purposely left off or replaced with items making the vehicle more trail worthy and capable.

There are four outstanding "repairs" that I was planning on doing in my spare time before I sell, but am willing to offer a $5,000 discount if the buyer takes the vehicle as is.

The outstanding items are:

  1. The drivers side front inside axle seal is starting to "weep". This is a standard Dana 60 axle seal. The seal is inexpensive, its the labor to remove the differential to access seal that costs. The weeping is very minor, I have not had to add any diff fluid since it was discovered a couple of years ago, but it is something that would eventually need to be addressed.
  2. One or both of the two Ford safety air vents on top of the fuel tank leak some diesel when the tank is full. This is more a nuisance item. It only leaves a small puddle after the vehicle is driven around with a full tank. I have purchased both air vents. The tank needs to be lowered when it is near empty, the two vents removed and replaced with the new ones. The installation is a simple push and twist procedure.
  3. I have purchased the new Renogy Solar panel. It's still in it's box. It needs to be installed on the roof and then plugged into the existing electrical line from the prior panel. The old panels have already been removed.
  4. When I replaced the extra "coach" battery I lost all the programming in the audio/video system telling it what attachments and features it has. In the past, my auto electric mechanic "reprogrammed" the system through going through a number of screens in the radio selecting the features and saving.
  5. Prior to selling I would have the vehicle detailed inside and out.

Here is a detailed list of vehicle description:

It's a rear A/C unit that cools the rear of the coach when the main compressor is running, It has it's own fan speed control.

Thanks, maybe others will wonder too.

You should post this on the sportsmobile forum. Lots of people over there looking for rigs like this. I already cross posted it over there.

Ok cool. Wasnt sure if it was an independent battery/solar powered little 12volt ac. Thanks for the reply. I also agree with grampswrx. ?

I placed ad on the Sportsmobile Forum as encouraged.

Just need to remember to look at that ad when I'm in town in case someone ask a question.

Thanks,
Fred
