2006 SRS/Airbag Diagnostics

I purchased a 06 Tundra Limited that I knew had been an accident. Since I intend on taking this vehicle deep offroad and putting quite a few thousand miles of forest roads on it, I didn't want or need a perfect truck. The previous owner did a nice job of fixing the relatively minor damage to the bumper, headlight, fender and hood, but despite saying that he replaced the airbags, I've still got an SRS/Airbag light on.

I know this is going down the rabbit hole of diagnostics, and some of the parts are pricey, but I really like the truck, got a pretty damn good deal and think it might be worth spending a few hundred to having working airbags.

What type of scan tool do I need to pull the SRS/Airbag codes from engine bay diagnostic port?

I'm trying to my best to avoid asking on TTORA or other communities that may be hostile towards such questions.

I know my 06 Tundra was part of the recent recall... I believe they swapped the passenger air-bag for no cost.... You might check that out?
