Hi everyone!

I just wanted to share my build I am doing. Its a 2005 Mercedes ML500 Special Edition I picked up for 3400 :D

I havent had it long, but I love it! Front torsion bars tightened up waiting on rear lift spacers and getting some billie 5160s

Shes on 275/65R18s, has intake/exhaust mods, and Ill be doing rtt, power stuffs, etc to take myself and the fam on some adventures :D I would love to make steel bumpers but thats further down the road.

Fantastic, following with nostalgia and interest (y). We took our W163 to the Arctic Ocean in 2019 without any modifications to the vehicle. As the last truck-chassis M-Class, it's a proper tank!

Thats awesome!

Got my Awning on. Any tips on what angle (front to rear) to have it? as in parallel with the vehicle, pointing in or pointing out (as far as aerodynamics when moving)

Picked up a roof box last week! A Forstinger Sport. Never sold in the USA, made in Austria. The guy had it on an opel he brought back with him.

Forstinger is made by Thule, and I picked it up for 50 bucks :D normally around 400.

Also I have my front shocks ordered. Bilstein 24-249966 B8 5100 Shock Absorber (rears for a 98-04 4Runner, but they get mounted on the front)

They have the same compressed length, but hella more travel, Ill need to add limiting straps.

Still no idea on what to use for rear struts/springs

Shock recommendation was wrong. Dont get the 4runner. I now have the 5100s for a Hummer H2. Same compressed Length and Extended is 3" longer. Exact fitment on bolts too.
