2005 Fuso FG Slow Start?

Lately my FG is slow to fire off. When I swapped the engine I had to send the injection pump out for a rebuild (these Bosch pumps DO NOT like sitting) but I don't recall it having this issue right after installing the rebuilt pump (it's been a few months). The video shows how it starts, and it behaves the same every time: crank-crank-crank - sputter - crank - start. Seems to run okay, but it MIGHT be down on power? Hard to tell as I'm not sure what full power actually feels like (the old engine had 250,000 miles on it...)

I did replace all the fuel intake hoses and fuel filter when I was diagnosing the bad pump, so I don't think it's a vacuum leak on the fuel delivery side...

Did I get the injection pump timing off? What else might I check?

Try pumping the primer before a cold start. You could have a little air leak. If it starts fine priming you have a leak.

UPDATE:

I finally got around to fabricating an injector pulling tool and got my injectors out to send for testing. Unsurprisingly they all failed with unacceptable levels of fuel leak-through. Now I'm on the hunt for 4 injectors - the dealer wants almost $1k EACH...
