Swapped in these 17” Trail wheels from a 2017 4runner. Shod with 275 75 r17 BFG ATs. Fit fine. Rubbed on the front leading edge when making hard left turns so I cut about 1 cm of material off of the inner corner of the PS front fender flair and that took care of it. Rides like a champ and the 4.7l engine turns them easily.

Looks good, how much space do you have from the upper control arms? Are you running stock suspension?
I have an '06 double cab and thinking about getting these rims, but would like a slightly larger tire, like 285x75 or the bfg 34x10.5....I'm pretty close to my control arms already though with 265x75's and stock rims....

Stock suspension so far but I have considered a front leveling kit. I’m going to try hard not to mess with the stock setup on this tundra though. In my experience altering suspension or steering setups always ends up driving a domino effect of other needed alterations.

At present there is plenty of space between the tires and the UCAs but it is the upper spring perch you have to watch. I only have about a finger width (roughly 1cm) between the tires and that perch. I’m pretty sure 285s would rub there with these rims unless you used spacers. That’s another idea I briefly considered but in the end rejected.
I ran these 275 BFGs on these rims on this truck for a couple weeks and then transferred them to my 99 4runner. They ran and cleared fine on the road but I thought that the wheel wells looked too full and I’m pretty sure I’d have problems if I ever needed to turn with the front end under compression / articulated. So... still running these rims but they are now shod with 265 70 r17 Falken Wildpeak ATs
