2003 Sunlite 690SE slide in front cab over dry rot repair

Finally got around to tearing apart the front of my camper and get it ready to go on some surf trips and camp out.

Anytips on glues to use to scab together boards, etc ? I‘ve tried bond rite and liquid nails on other projects.

They build these campers so skimpy and everything is stapled. Planning on using metal straps to tie together areas that were stapled.

Be stoked for any input from veterans of this repair type.

Construction adhesive and screws, strongest I know of.

I've repaired a Lance camper years ago with liquid nail and staples. Try to stay away from any raw steel products due to they will rust and react with the aluminum siding. Use aluminum or Stainless Steel. Fun project!

Second day of rebuilding the frame / Had to Mcgyver some parts in fitting right. It’s crazy seeing the lack of attention to detail on a cheap campers. Still need to spray mold killer before i put the inner nose wall piece in. Also i ran out of proper fasteners and my backwoods up bringing came out..
