2003-ish Suburban roof rack question

don't see why you couldn't. The standard rack is ok and if you keep your attachment points near the locations where the factory rack rails attach to the roof, weight concerns should be lessened. There's a curve from front to back, so you might want custom risers front and back to level out your added rack. Just don't go with a too thick of a bolt / bolthole thru the factory rails.

when i had my first baja rack on my yukon i just bolted it on to the factory cross bars. zero issues loaded up with cargo, light bars and hilift. when i switched it out to the current baja rack and rtt combo i went and got an extra set of cross bars off ebay and added a third one to handle the extra weight. no issues there either
