2001 Jeep Wrangler
5.9L Magnum from a 98 Grand Cherokee Limited 5.9L
200K on body
Just under 160K on motor
Under 100K on ax15 transmission
Motor came from my personal vehicle that was hit and totaled. At time of swap the following was done:
All new seals including everything from valve cover gaskets and Hughes intake plenum down to oil pan gasket, valve stem seals, head gaskets, etc. Have pictures and receipts for all of this.
Transmission came from a 90K mile donor vehicle
Transfer case is a 242 (shifts into all gears, but needs linkage adjusted to get it out of 4-LO, on list of things to fix since it's simple.) with slip yoke eliminator
HD driveshaft
Ford 8.8 rear diff w/ LSD and truss
JKS Quick disconnects
Dana 30 front
4.10 gears front and rear
Aluminum radiator
285/75/16 Duratracs with good tread (all 5)
Raptor lined interior
Electric fan
2-piece bestop hardtop (targa top or full top off)
full doors
Jeep came from GA and has literally no rust anywhere
B&G performance tune (+20HP/+20ft/lb tq)
headers
custom y pipe
hi flow/ hi spun cat
Xcelerator muffler (sounds good, not too loud but noticeable, does not drone)
sound bar
new clutch and flywheel at time of swap from KY clutch
Total estimated HP/Tq is 275/375 with tune and exhaust
Jeep is fun to drive and sounds great. I've taken it on multiple trips of 3+ hours and it always runs great. No vibrations and has plenty of power on the highway with the V8 and 4.10 gears. Hate to sell, but doesn't fit my family anymore. I've put approximately 3000 trouble free miles on it since the swap. Swap was done right and no short cuts taken.
Have parts to finish A/C (a/c worked in the jeep motor came out of, and have new evaporator core and condenser that goes with sale), CEL comes on and off for rear oxygen sensor. Will scan for serious buyers to show codes
Please feel free to contact with any questions. This Jeep is not perfect, but is very nice. Clean title in my name with no liens, ready to go. Can meet most days to transfer.
