You won't find a more aggressively spec'd P38 in the US. This example is equipped for overland expeditions - it's been to Moab Utah, many trips in the Sierra Nevadas, Death Valley and King of Hammers as a support rig. It's a custom made vehicle and has a few scars to prove it.

Features include:
One-off custom safari style roof rack set-up for roof top tent and side awning (neither included)
One-off custom rear tire carrier that swings out and has two 5-gallon gas can carriers - Water can included
One-off custom roof access ladder
One-off custom rock sliders
Rock Rover front bumper with aluminum skid plate
Southdown steering guard
Wired for trailer with 4 pin blade and 7-pin round connectors
Converted rear storage with custom fridge pull out (not installed but included) - Fridge is included however, does not work; spares are included that should return it to operation
T Max Dual Battery system and two batteries mounted under the hood
CB Radio with front mounted antenna
Bi-Xenon headlight upgrade
LED Spots on brush bar, light bar on roof, LED spots on roof, LED fogs (not yet wired) and LED side light for camping
Mechanically this rig is very sound with original engine and transmission. All fluids have been maintained with Redline DT4 synthetic in transmission and TC. Amsoil synthetic in front and rear diff and engine runs on K&N Gold oversized oil filter with Rotella Triple T.
Exhaust is modified and makes for a great rumble making her presence known.
The heater has been converted to the Audi heater core and the weak O-ring design eliminated. All blend motors work!!!! AC is cold and heater hot.
The alternator was replaced with a 150Amp unit and the steering box was replaced.

The EAS system was removed and suspension reworked with the following:
OME HD springs front and rear
Front sway bar quick disconnects
Adjustable Panhard rods
Brake line extenders
Wood's Double Cardan front drive shaft
Custom front and rear shocks
31.5" BFG Mud Terrain Tires including spare which is rotated onto the rig to ensure even wear on all tires. Tires have lots of life left and are well balanced and quiet on the road.

Recent Maintenance Includes:
Valve Cover Gaskets + Oil Separator
Upper Intake Manifold Gasket
Throttle Body Gasket
Coil Packs
Ignition Wires
Spark Plus
Idler Pulleys
Tensioner Pulley
Drive Belt
Oil Pan Gasket (oil pan and pickup tube were removed and thoroughly cleaned)

All the windows are tinted and the rear seats have genuine RR seat covers.
Original RR rubber mats, new headlining in a darker grey coupled with good carpet and overall interior condition.
As mentioned, this is an overland vehicle that has completed many thousands of miles on many successful trips.

On the negative side, sun roof is sealed shut (wouldn't work with the roof rack anyways), seat heaters do not work, it has a front crankshaft oil seal leak and the right side of the windscreen is cracked from top to bottom, does not affect visibility.

Sold as-is, where-is, no warranty. Asking $8,900 obo - Located in Noblesville, IN
