I am looking to sell or preferably trade with some cash somewhere on the West Coast. Available starting early February and will be in California on my way up to Washington.

Sale price would be $8000

<150K on body <20K on engine
I will be putting about 4K miles on it to get back to the states from Panama.

I would be looking to trade for a van, can be pretty basic. Need something I can crash in and store surf boards and tools.

I bought this Disco off a member here a little less than a year ago. He did the majority of the upgrades and made a couple of overlanding trips. I have been traveling around Panama and Costa Rica for the last 6 months. It's time to head back to the states and work a bit, hence my need for something more van-like.

For my part of owning the vehicle I've only driven on the beach once and that was to avoid a landslide. Mostly I've just been on rough dirt/gravel roads with an occasional river crossing here or there. I've never done any serious off-roading or rock crawling type stuff.

Details:
New 4.6 Atlantic British Long Block engine installed with less than 20k miles. Atlantic British upgrades rebuilt engines with better components.
The previous owner had his mechanic do this swap. He doesn't have a record of the exact miles at which it happened, but I did confirm with a Rover specialist shop in Wilmington, NC that it was definitely a new 4.6 engine.

Inline 180 degree thermostat

All new exhaust, including cats but not manifold (it was replaced separately a few years ago) done with new engine install.

4.11 gears and Detroit trutrac lockers

5 K02 tires with less than 20k miles.

2inch lift

Rovertyme bumpers front, rear and rock sliders (all rhino lined)

Roof rack and raised air intake

LED Front and Back accessory lights

dual battery set up with new odyssey batteries, charge controller and inverter installed.

15 gallon water tank and pump with hose (included but not wired up)

New 10000lbs winch

skid plates

greaseable drive shafts

Recently replaced all brake components and fuel pump. New rear door hinges as well.

has the CDL kit installed but the pin popped out and it’s not currently attached

Also includes Big Foot awning

Sunroofs are disabled and pulled the headliner and texture sprayed the board and put back.

No leaks!

Before leaving Panama I will have replaced the steering rods and ends, swap bar drop links, and watts linkage.

Issues:

CDL isn’t working

Can’t get into low gear. I am pretty sure it's the solenoid that sits on top of the transfer case. I don't really have tools with me but if I can get to fixing it I will.

Needs some suspension refreshes, bushings and possibly shocks.

Tear in Driver Front Seat

I’m probably forgetting a few things, it’s a 20 year old vehicle, but overall is in really good shape.
