Ya, I have some of the same concerns....I feel they will have a lot of road noise in the future..

They are a true rated snow/winter tire so I have hope for them.

Got the spings in and aligned, I took it for a quick spin and it drives like a brand new vehicle.

No more road wandering and feels much more solid!!!

Over all lifted it right at 2 inches. Looks great and I am very glad I did it!

Well small update...I was given the chance to test out a new tire.

It's a mastercraft courser CXT, I ended up going with a LT285/75R16 and I put a set fuel vector wheels.

The wheels look great, Fuel is looking into finding me s ok me center caps that will work on the front.

The tires look amazing they are more then an A/T, but less then a true mud tire.

They are also cut and chip resistant so that is a major plus for rocks and such.

Anyway I'll let you guys know more in a little while how they are doing!

Nice, looks similar to Cooper Discovery S/T Maxx, I'll have to keep this on the radar.
I drove them around a lot today, they are by no means loud but you can sure feel you have something very capable under you!

They road very smooth as well. The only part of the tire that sticks past the fender well is the side wall. It was the exact look I was going for!

Awesome Trooper! I also have a 2000 myself- with 2" OME lift and shocks on 33's. They are definitely reliable vehicles - I just put on 3000 miles pulling a trailer from Michigan to Oregon, and tomorrow I'm driving 2000 miles for a two week trip to Glacier NP and Yellowstone, which will be 5000 miles in under a month! I had this thing listed for sale a few months ago and now I'm still glad I have it. They are also great to sleep in - my brother and I took a month long trip out west and half the time slept on a platform we built in the back thats over 6' long
