I have for sale 2 John Baker 4 bolt hitches that fit all gen 1, 2, and 2.5 Monteros. These are some of the best ever made, have minor surface pitting consistent with age and use, price is $75 per hitch and includes shipping.

Toasty

Looking for that thing i just had in my hand...
Good luck with the sale, there were a couple guys looking for these and the 3 point John Baker hitches. Definitely some of the best made, the Toasty 2" 4 bolt receivers were the best ever but i'm bias...

What are these, exactly? My truck appears to have one, but now i'm second guessing if this sits higher and eliminates the lowest rear point?

They are 4 bolt receivers, they allow a person to remove the stock tow hitch lower portion that bolts under the frame and allows for better clearance without really affecting tow rating, you can remove or install them as needed so it's there when you need to tow and not there to hang down if you aren't towing.

Hi,
I picked one of these up a few weeks ago and installed on my LWB GEN1 and the receiver tube appears to be angled downward. Am I missing any other hardware for the install?

I'd say it's bent dude.

Hey Toasty,
That's exactly what I thought when I got it, but I can't seem to find any evidence of damage to it. The Receiver tube is straight from one side to the other of the drop plate and the gussets that go on either side are true as well. I'll post some more pics when I can.
