This build will take some time. I need to sale my 67 firebird before I can start an other project.

In the end it should look something like this. I did not design this I'm coping from a build on another Forum.

If you need a hand fabbing, welding, bending or whatever, let me know and I'll be happy to help. I like projects like this.

Cool plans for the trailer! :jumping:

The Firebird:
1967- Org-326 3spd Now a 400 w/turbo 350.
10bolt posi ?3.36 gears.
Cal-trac traction bar with global west springs.
Front disk brakes with 1 1/4 sway-bar.

Whats wrong with it:
Body is straight with minor rust except for the roof. The roof is a vinyl top that has completely rusted out and will need to be replaced. The wiring is there but should be replaced.

What i still need to do.
Finish installing the rear suspension, Install new power brake booster. Get the fresh engine started and running.

I would take 5500 for it now if someone wanted it really bad.
After I get it running and driving I will bump the price up maybe to 7000+

Poncho 400 I hope. Do you still have the clutch pedals/ linkage? Any interior shots and detail shots of the roof problem areas? Does it still sport the "326" badges?

Yes Poncho Power,
No it does not have the Linkage anymore,
Yes it still has 326 badges.

I will try and take some pics later. I'll PM you with them.

That's a really neat little trailer. I would have a real hard time cutting it up if it were mine.

Honestly you may well have more effort into modifying that then starting fresh. I'd concider selling it and buying a plain 4x8 utility as a starting point or making a frame to suit your needs.

Couple reason: That axles is probably a 1500-2000. Its also sagging. It would still be fine for the road but off road it may not be. For a offroad trailer I would want a 3500lb axle to get the bigger bearings and possibly go with electric brakes.

I bet you could sell that trailer for enough to buy all the materials to build the next one.

Keep the Bird too....You will hate yourself later if you get rid of it. You will always regret selling a old Poncho like that.
