This is my second defender, and if you are into these trucks this is a great one. We wanted to try the 110 out, and have decided to go back to a 90. I admit I have a car problem. I like to trade them around and really enjoy the hunt for what's next. That being said, here are some details:
$55,000.00, located in Crested Butte, CO
1995 Defender 110, 5 door wagon from Spain with virtually no rust
Clean and clear Colorado title in hand
166,500 miles
300TDI diesel motor
R380 Transmission
New Paint (Land Rover Limestone) and new leather on the seats
Recovered headliner
2018 - replaced exterior lights, brake pads, hoses, belts and crank shaft
2019 - replaced oil cooler lines, brake servo, vacuum pump and battery
2020 - new transfer case seals, new rear door skin, new rear shocks, new gas cap, repaired heater actuator
2021 - parking brake disassembled, cleaned and adjusted, resurface brakes, new bfg all terrain tires
In the past month I have also serviced the rear axle with all new bearings and seals, serviced the rear diff, and replaced all the door and bonnet hinge hardware with stainless steel. I have new u-joints for the rear driveshaft on the bench to be replaced soon.
Includes full length roof rack, brand new rear NAS style bumper with 2" receiver and mantec spare tire carrier
This truck starts and runs smooth. All gears shift as they should. Currently no known issues except a couple imperfections in the paint and a minor oil drip (few drops after driving). Next items on my list if I keep it are new door and window seals and replacing the A-arm top link (this part is on order already). This truck is a pleasure to drive, gets lots of attention and has had some great work done on it. I drive it regularly, so mileage will continue to go up. Pulls strong and drives straight. You will have a hard time finding one in better shape.
