Hello,

I've decided to test the waters with selling my 1995 Land Rover Discovery. This Rover is pretty special and 'rare' if you might say as it has a engine swapped from a 100 series Land cruiser. So you can say this is one of the only lower maintenance reliable land rovers out there.

There are 167,000km on the Rover with around 100,000km on the swapped engine. I just had a full service done on the rig, and it's ready to go.

The vehicle is located at my house in Thailand, but can ship it to any port in the world for around $2,200-$3,800.

It is an automatic, all electronics work. It has a OME lift and tons of modifications. Will post more on that later along with maintenance receipts

Bad:
-it is 25 years old so the paint isnt in it's prime but still glossy
-the SUV is RHD

Asking price is $13,000usd obo

Clean title, no accidents

So I'm waiting to have all the mechanic sheets and notes to upload. But spec wise for performance it's all the stock specs of a 100 series, the transmission is Toyota, and the transfer case was custom built by Jack's. It still retains it's full time 4x4, and is way faster and quieter than a stock rover.

I’m really confused about the engine. The pic you posted is not of a 100 series V8 (2UZ-FE). It even says V8 Land Rover on the valve covers.

I need to update the ad, but it's a 2uz-fe engine. It has custom valve covers that say Land Rover. Easy to have made

Given the intake location and valve covers my untrained eye thinks that’s a 1UZ-FE. But it could be a 2UZ bottom end with a 1UZ top end?
