1989 VW Vanagon Westfalia with 45,500 miles

Hello, I'm selling one of the nicest condition westies you will find. It's the second nicest I've ever seen. I've owned the van for 3 years and put around 10k miles on it traveling around the south west. It's in well maintained and excellent shape ready for your adventures. The only reason I'm selling it is that I have recently upgraded to an EarthCruiser FX.

Here are the details:

2wd 1989 Westfalia in Wolfram Grey
45,500 (well documented) miles with the original motor
Manual transmission
Mechanically I've been through the whole thing and I've replaced the wiring harness, fuel lines, radiator, oil pressure release valve and sensors, gas tank, etc, etc. It had a full service by German Motorwerks last fall. Passed smog last month. A/C is recently serviced and tested for leaks. Receiver/dryer was replaced and it definitely blows cold.

GoWest lift springs w/ Burley UCA (powder coated) and Fox shocks. All the bushings (plus tie rods) replaced in the fall.

16" South African steel wheels with BFG KO2s
South African upgraded front brakes (larger size and thickness, much safer)
Burley heavy-duty hitch mounted inside the bumper

GoWesty 50AH battery kit
GoWesty fridge delete kit
GoWesty fridge vent usb/12v replacement panel

2 bank battery charger wired up to 120v shore power and both starter and house batteries

All interior lights replaced with LEDs.
LT mirrors replacing the stock floppy mirrors

Interior the van is basically perfect. The exterior is all original paint, but has some minor chips on the front, a few light scratches on the driver's side door and a subtle crease at the bottom of the sliding door (I assume someone opened the door into something at some point. Paint is not damaged).

You can definitely find a cheaper Westfalia, but I think this tastefully upgraded van is the nicest you will find.

Hey, I had some questions about the A/C so I took it in the shop and had that fully addressed. It's now been converted to r134a, has a new receiver/dryer and has no known leaks after a tracer dye leak down test. Thanks!

Need the room for my new rig, so lowering the price to $32k! This is a superb van for someone looking to actually use it. It's ready to go!
