Are you really in that big of a hurry if you are driving a Unimog?
Nope. But it’s for your safety if you like to drive on public roads. People don’t expect slow vehicles. I have driven many thousand miles in military unimogs . Both the 130 and 170 hp version. First the 170 where I already thought it’s painfully slow. But the first drive in 130hp version blew me away. Just imagine you are entering a highway through a slight incline on-ramp. You will struggle reaching enough speed to safely pull out. Same going up hill... third gear- max rpm and 15mph... do your self a favour and look for one with at least 170hp.

I was just messing with you. I squeezed 260HP out of the OM366 I have in my Mog now. Not a Ferrari but not the sluggy old mog anymore either.
