1983 Toyota Land Cruiser 155k
Truck currently lives in Utah at 7k ft
12,500 OBO

I bought this as a project and started with the mechanics… unfortunately some medical issues/bills are forcing me to sell.
Runs and drives wonderfully I drive it everyday.

The good!!!!

Motor received a refresh roughly 1,000ish miles ago
New head gasket
Head decked, pressure checked, new guides installed, valves and seats lapped
professionally.
Reman Distributor from Cardone
New cap, rotor, and plugs
Full carb clean and rebuild using only Japanese parts
Block cleaned and freshly pained
All new Gasketing
Engine fully desmoged properly
(Have all components to resmog)
New battery terminals
New Battery
New power steering pump
All new vacuum hoses
New radiator
New fan Clutch
New Muffler this week
Factory AC Truck
3inch OME lift
4x4 functions flawlessly
Trans shifts smooth
Locking hubs turn easy and work as should
Zero rust or scaling of frame extremely solid
Drip tray and chrome around roof in excellent shape no rust.
Tub is solid except for typical rear quarters
Factory seats are in good shape except for drivers
Factory dash is in good condition as well!

The bad….

Headliner could use replacing or repair in some spots
Rear quarters rusted in typical location above wheel wells.
Drivers door rusty could be replaced.
Previous owner painted black over the original tan color.
Drivers seat has large rip
Rear lower tailgate has large dent and some rust

I’m sure I am forgetting some things. I have a huge file with receipts for almost everything

To Infinity and Beyond!
I guess I should learn to read better and "Pay" attention to what is written.

I clicked on this thread solely to see what a $155K 1983 Toyota Land Cruiser looked like.

Of course by only glancing at the thread title I DID NOT notice that the title DID NOT say $155K for a price. The thread title said 155K which was for the mileage on the truck.

Nice looking Toyota. GLWS!

I will slow down and "Pay" better attention in the future to what is written rather than what I thought was written!

Good lesson to be reminded of every now and then!
