Hey All,
We're selling our family cherished VERY rare 1979 FJ40 Diesel powered Landcruiser 4WD (I hate that this day came ) We are moving out of country and it's just time to move on. The title reads correctly it has the original BJ40 Diesel engine in it and runs and starts up like clock work. We bought it in Costa Rica off of a good friend and made an expedition out of it. We drove it from Costa Rica back to Tucson, AZ where it currently resides. WHAT A TRIP THAT WAS! The 'landey' drove perfect and we had a blast doing it.
The FJ is in good/fair condition for its age and life. Some of the gauges do not work, there are a few small oil leaks, and the brakes pull a bit to the left. The FJ needs a few things done here and there for sure, but it could drive you thousands of miles with out stopping, I can vouch for that :smiley_drive:
The FJ says 53,053 Kilometers, but since its only a 5 digit reader its most likely 153-253 kilometers. Not sure.
The Landcruiser has no rust issues. Nothing is flaking or rotting. Body is in great condition, the paint has a few flaws. Not the best paint on it.....but who cares it a BJ40 DIESEL powered Landcruiser!!!!
PRICE: $13,500 FIRM (roof rack and roof top tent NOT Included, but DOES come with a few spare parts.)
!! NOTE: I may consider a partial trade for a NICE Pick Up 4x4 (prefer toyota, but open)!!
If you need to contact me: anderszway@gmail.com
Thanks for looking!
