1976 Toyota Chinook: 1st Attempt

Wow, I am in the process of deciding what 4x4 platform to fit my newly acquired chinook also. I like the T100 but i cant say I like the look from the side with the extra 7 in, I realize you have not completed your vision yet.

I would do a 1st gen tundra regular cab long bed. They can be had for a good price these days.

Pmorin, the chinook is in the welding shop. I'll post here when it's in a more complete state and we can get together. Were you active in the Toyota chinook yahoo group with dudevato and others? Your name sounds familiar...
I've got a second gen Tacoma Access cab that I want to put a chinook body on but I'm worried about the overhang how much did you end up paying for your extension/what all did it involve?
