This 1976 Land Rover Series III 109 is a right hand drive build which was imported to the US from Kuwait in 2012 . Power is provided by a 2.25L Four Cylinder Engine with a New Carburetor and Intake Manifold, four-speed manual gearbox which was partially overhauled in 2018 and a Roamer Drive Overdrive which was installed last year! Other work under current ownership has included installation of new upholstery and rubber floor mats, replacement of the clutch master and slave cylinders, and an oil change. This 109 is offered with export documents, 10 years of service records, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.

The truck is finished in off-white paint (Which is partially fading and chipping on the roof, and galvanized capping and a matching tropical roof. Body-colored 16″ steel wheels, and a full-size spare which can be mounted to the hood. Additional features include headlight and taillight guards, and beautiful upgraded black vinyl seats that are in excellent shape! Also installed is the coveted Smiths Heater System which works very well!

The 2.25L gasoline engine was fitted with a new distributor cap, rotor, points set, spark plugs, and battery in 2019. An oil and filter change was performed in October of 2020. Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox which was partially rebuilt.

The clutch master and slave cylinders were replaced by British 4x4 Durham North Carolina in 2019.

This truck is a perfect example of a well kept rust free Land Rover Series Vehicle which is a turn key purchase, this truck literally needs nothing but a new loving owner!

It appears to have the desirable Salisbury rear axle, which is an early Dana 60.
I wonder if it has any left-behind Iraqi Army souvenirs left inside?
