This is a fully restored 1947 Bantam T3-C trailer.
Restoration took place in September 2019, lid added September 2020.
Two trips out West, zero issues. Trailer has approximately 6,000 miles on it since restoration.
BFG KM3s are 7.50 R16 LT Load Range E mounted on period-correct welded steel Bantam 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern wheels.
Quality Koyo bearings serviced since latest trip (new at restoration) and spares of bearings and seals included in vacuum sealed bag, already packed with grease.
The trailer is very light (fully loaded with tools and gear for a cross country month-long trip) it weighed only 1,180 lbs. It’s likely in the 7-800 lb range empty.
Color is the official Jeep color from 2013 models only (Commando Green) with professionally applied black bedliner inside, underneath, and to the frame and fenders. It is very well protected from the elements.
LED lighting, all new wiring, and original replacement Grote reflectors.
The lid seals the trailer contents very well from the elements (water, mud, dust, etc) and the entire tub is lockable with two keyed locks in the tailgate.
The tongue was replaced with much stronger than original C channel and 2” square tubing so an articulating offroad hitch can be used if desired. Spare tire mount is incorporated into the tongue as well with no stress to the body/tub itself.
Three BFG KM3 tires are PERFECT.
The tent is a Tepui Kukenam 4 ruggedized and is in perfect condition.
Ready to go.
$9,750

Wow, nice rig. Nice work. More than I want to spend though, and it leaves me nothing left to do.

Thank you.
I tried to knock out the main stuff that an average garage tinkerer would be intimidated by (welding and fabrication part - especially replacing the tongue with the major upgrade there).
There's still lots more one could do with it. Adding in some drawer slides inside would be nice, propane and a water heater maybe, etc.

That's fair, nothing left to do was an overstatement. There is always something to do on a project like this. I am looking for a bit more of a project at this point. It looks super clean though. If it were Tank (green) to match my jeep it may indeed be irresistible.

Colors can be changed. ;)

Looking Forward to Getting Lost.
Absolutely the cleanest restoration of a Bantam I have seen yet. No way should this still be available. I am in awe of your work and attention to detail Sir.....

Thank you very much. It's still available. Time for spring and getting outside!

I'd be willing to knock off $1000 of the selling price to let it go without the tent. That'd put it at $8,750 and you can add your own tent if you already have one or want to use a smaller one.
