Long time lurker, first post here. Been browsing this forum for a while now and was inspired by all these awesome builds on here to finally start a build of my own. Luckily it just so happened my dads friend was selling this bantam trailer, so I picked it up. It sat for almost a year before I started working on it. Started it in august of 2022 and it’s just about done now. let me know what you think and if you also have any questions.

Do it for the 'gram
Thank you. Wasn’t sure how it was gonna turn out when I started it. Pretty happy with the end result. Still want to add some stuff like a water tank, batteries, lights and solar.

My only suggestion would be to add two more of those scissor-jack stabilizers to the front of the trailer; it'll be much more stable than the jockey wheel, and make levelling easier, too.

Ya that’s a good idea. It is a lil shakey when it’s not attached to the tow vehicle. Was thinking of welding on some swing out stabilizers front and rear for a more permanent solution. Not sure what to use yet though.

Very cool lift platform. I've been thinking of doing something similar, therefore I have a few questions...

What size tubes did you use for the inner and outer legs?
Have you had trouble with dirt getting inside and messing with the lifting and lowering of the platform?
Also, what lift capacity do the cylinders have?
Are they sufficient for their task?

Thanks!
