I’ve been looking for a good candidate for my first overland build for a couple of years, just waiting for a good time with work and infants to grow into toddlers and be able to handle longer road trips. That time has finally come and I am in the market for a land cruiser or similar to start my first modest build. I found a 2001 LC100 for a good price with little to no rust however there are a couple ABS codes that posted on a pre-purchase inspection I had done. Knowing the 100 has some ABS issues should I back out or bite the bullet and be prepared for the worst ($2k?)? Otherwise the vehicle checks out pretty well for close to 200k miles. Thanks!
