Wow. I need to up my insurance. Based on that, I should get 20K for mine. Same truck, as good or better condition with a Flippac, built in cabinets, re geared to 4.88’s, bla blah blah. The problem? What would I buy? Basically, that truck that sold was a top of the line Tacoma for 2002. A top of the line today is what, $42K? That’s another reason they are holding their value.

My brother sold a 2014 single cab 4x4 manual trans tacoma for what he paid new for it. That was after 2 years of ownership and 30k miles. I had a similiar experience with my fjc.

I'd definitely take some screen shots of these deals and see if you can get a stated value policy.

Shoot.. my Tacoma only has 42K miles on it.... and would cost about $80k to rebuild at today's prices... /off to call insurance company to up my coverage.

My policy does cover extra items. The Flippac, armor, gears, etc...but I would be lucky if combined they would pay me that much. I’ll have to tag that sale!

Could it all be BS in an effort for that website to draw in more people, up their “readership” in an effort to sell more as space?
