I would compare the payload of a diesel to gas and also compare the payload of a 3/4 ton to a 1 ton. You will see a noticeable difference in payload compacity. Kurt

On the diesel yes the payload is terrible but if you went to the gas it much better. Over a ton but 26gal gas tank on a gaser way to small even if the new gaser has that variable engine cylinder tech.

I wouldn't doubt the 123k mileage then it quit. Had V10 2008 E450 and V10 2010 E350 both engines were replaced around the 130K mileage. Kurt
